The Blue Candle
In 2021, I completed principal photography on "The Colour of Everything" which is a narrative feature about a reclusive scientist trying to reach out to other life in the universe.
Before that, I wanted to film something to set the scene so I produced this short, "The Blue Candle". This is an exploration of the long term consequences to humanity if as a species we remain insular and fail to move on from Earth. Although more documentary, this is narrated by the scientist character from The Colour of Everything and works as a prequel.
